Meet Our Staff
Daryel Scott, M.S.
Program Director
Daryel Scott is an experienced educator, mental health professional, and youth advocate with more than 20 years of experience serving children and families. He holds degrees in Psychology and Mental Health Counseling, with specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis.
As Program Director, Daryel combines education, counseling, and behavioral support to help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. A U.S. Army veteran and special education professional, he is committed to empowering young people to build confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.
​His mission is to empower young people to discover their strengths, develop confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their fullest potential while making a positive impact on every student and family he serves.
Taylor Selfridge, M.S.
Athletics/Physical Ed,
Taylor Selfridge is a dedicated educator and volleyball coach with more than a decade of experience in athletics, student development, and leadership. A former Division I volleyball player at Mississippi Valley State University, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation and a Master’s degree in Sport Management from the University of Michigan.
Taylor brings extensive experience in teaching, competitive coaching, and athlete development. As founder of Mack Athletic Volleyball Club and Training, she is passionate about helping young people build confidence, discipline, teamwork, and leadership. Her commitment is to empower students and athletes to reach their full potential both academically and athletically.
Dante Scott, M.S.
Finance Controller
Danté Scott brings a unique blend of education, athletics, professional experience, and mentorship to our school community. A former collegiate basketball standout at Mississippi Valley State University, Danté earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communication with an emphasis in Broadcasting and graduated with honors.
With more than five years of professional experience in finance and accounting, Danté is also pursuing his Master of Science in Accounting and plans to obtain his CPA certification.
Most importantly, Danté is passionate about inspiring young people. Through mentorship and positive leadership, he encourages students to develop confidence, discipline, focus, and a strong belief in their ability to succeed—both in the classroom and in life.
Trenetta Scott
Curriculum Coordinator
Trenetta Scott brings more than 25 years of professional experience in banking, lending, leadership, and community service. Throughout her career, she has remained passionate about empowering youth and creating opportunities for personal growth, confidence, and success.
As Curriculum Coordinator, Trenetta uses her leadership and organizational experience to support engaging educational programs that promote students’ academic, social, and personal development. Her commitment to mentorship and community service reflects her belief that every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their strengths, develop essential life skills, and reach their full potential.
Keith Merrell, Jr.
Media Strategist
Keith Merrell is an experienced project manager and software engineer with a strong background in technology, engineering, and strategic leadership. Beginning his career with The Boeing Company, Keith has led complex projects and teams with an emphasis on innovation, collaboration, and results.
As Media Strategist, Keith uses his technical expertise and creative approach to strengthen digital communication, media initiatives, and student engagement. Passionate about STEM education and youth development, he is committed to helping young people build confidence, explore technology, and develop the skills needed to become tomorrow’s innovators and leaders.
